Delimiter Registry entry
Specify the marker that separates each language in a field in a multi-language environment.
In a multi-language environment, data is entered into a field in one language followed by the next, separated by a defined delimiter (and so on, for as many languages as required). There is no restriction on the length of the delimiter.
In this example, data is entered in only two languages, English and then French separated by ;:;
:
Note: ;:;
is the default language delimiter in EMu.
It is not possible to have the delimiter sequence treated as text, so a sequence should be selected that will never occur in data values.
Note: The delimiter should be set system wide and never on a per user or group basis.
